About Star

Star Engineering, Inc, is a certified minority-owned (S/MBE) civil engineering consulting firm formed in Palm Beach County, Florida in January 1997.   We pride ourselves in serving customers from civil project planning from start to their completion.  During Star's 26-year history, we have chosen and been fortunate to work with customers running multi-billion-dollar investment organizations investing in the production and transportation of Oil & Gas, electric power, submarine-cable fiber-optics communications infrastructure, and underground water-and-sewage utilities.  Our customers include private and public organizations who value their high reputation on social and environmental responsibilities. Consequently, our roster of customers includes well-known national and multinational service providers.  Although we are a relatively small firm when compared to the multinational engineering consulting firms with which closely cooperate on large projects,  our customers have and will oftentimes called upon Star's staff to serve as their "In-country Owner's Representative" with the magnificent opportunity to guide and review other firms' engineering plans and support documents on behalf of our client. Star's staff thrives in exploring new technical ideas by providing our customers and their civil engineering consultants with innovative solutions aimed at improving civil works quality and whenever called for reducing project construction costs. Our approach has resulted in the development and implementation of technically-sound Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QA/QC) Programs for our customers to be able to maintain the highest level of quality during construction projects and their up-keep/maintenance systems in subsequent years of civil works operations.  Star also believes in looking beyond the immediate needs and working closely with our customers and their large engineering consulting firms to establish long-lasting civil works that are monitored and enhanced as part of an organization's Continuous Improvement Cycle.  Over Star's many years of operations, we've also developed close relationships with other very experienced engineering, hydrogeologic, social outreach, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) consultants who have worked on our same projects and with our same customers, but contractually independently from us under their own names or small-business LLCs.  In short, Star would be pleased to assist your organization with any internal project staffing needs based on our vast civil engineering and scientific disciplines of expertise!
